Accountant – Full‑Cycle Finance Role (Remote, Philippines)

About the role

Join a growing healthcare accounting operation that is building a stronger, more accountable finance team. This full‑cycle accounting position will own key finance responsibilities from accounts payable input through initial financial review, supporting clean month‑end closes across multiple facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Post cash transactions to the general ledger for assigned accounts.
• Review AP emails, code invoices and enter them into the AP platform.
• Upload payroll entries, prepaid expenses, accruals, journal entries and other accounting activity.
• Support daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks that contribute to a clean month‑end close.
• Prepare AP and receivables reports for review.
• Follow up on collections for non‑medical billing as needed.
• Reconcile bank accounts during month‑end close.
• Review financials and submit them to the supervisor for final approval.
• Manage accounting responsibilities for approximately 4–6 facilities.
• Use the workflow management system to track and complete assigned daily tasks.

Required profile

• Full‑cycle accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, bookkeeping, reconciliations, accruals, journal entries and financial analysis.
• Analytical thinking and ability to see how day‑to‑day decisions affect month‑end reporting.
• Accountability and ownership of work with consistent accuracy.
• Sage Intacct experience is strongly preferred; other platforms considered with proven technical ability.
• Healthcare accounting experience (nursing home or skilled nursing facility) is a plus.
• Professional communication skills and clear written English.
• Ability to manage recurring daily, weekly and monthly workflows across multiple facilities.
• Located in the Philippines.
