Accountant – Corporate Finance (Manila)

About the role

The Lind Hotels is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its corporate finance team at the Manila Head Office. The role focuses on preparing financial statements, managing the head‑office general ledger, and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, including TIEZA submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze and process daily and monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS or relevant standards.
• Lead regulatory compliance monitoring and timely TIEZA reporting.
• Oversee the general ledger, journal entries and comprehensive account reconciliations for head office and resort properties.
• Monitor, track and analyze expenses to identify variances and maintain fiscal control.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support annual audit processes.
• Facilitate month‑end and year‑end closing, ensuring accurate cut‑offs and reporting schedules.
• Maintain organized physical and digital financial records.
• Collaborate with resort finance teams and corporate leadership on budgeting, planning and variance analysis.
• Conduct routine account audits and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis, special‑project accounting and internal‑control support to executive finance management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience as an Accountant, Junior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor in a corporate or hospitality setting.
• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy; CPA license or eligibility is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles, financial analysis and expense control.
• Ability to meet tight closing deadlines under pressure.

Required skills

• High proficiency with accounting ERP software such as SAP or SunSystem.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
