Accountant – Bookkeeping, Financial Reporting & Taxation

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Accountant to lead our daily accounting operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial records, prepare comprehensive financial statements, and manage tax compliance for a growing organization.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Review journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations prepared by staff.
• Prepare and analyse balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Perform and review bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Maintain organized documentation for audits and regulatory filings.
• Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and internal controls.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 35 years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong background in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and taxation.
• High level of integrity handling confidential financial information.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
