Account Director – Finance & Accounting Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Account Director to lead our Finance & Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) practice in the Philippines. You will be the executive point of contact for US and Australian clients, overseeing a large offshore delivery team and driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own senior client relationships across US and Australian accounts, engaging with C‑suite and VP‑level stakeholders.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of AR, AP, GL, reporting and audit functions.
• Drive client growth through scope expansion, service improvements and strategic account development.
• Manage and develop a 200+ headcount offshore delivery organization, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Monitor operational KPIs, financial targets, SLAs and quality metrics to ensure delivery excellence.
• Lead client transitions, onboarding, process improvements and technology integrations.
• Partner with presales, solutions, talent, finance and operations teams to support business growth.
• Identify risks, resolve escalations and provide actionable insights to clients and internal leadership.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of experience in Finance & Accounting Outsourcing.
• 5+ years in senior client‑facing/account leadership roles managing 200+ headcount.
• Strong background in finance, accounting, AR operations and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting US and/or Australian clients with knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, IRS and ATO frameworks.
• Proven experience managing executive stakeholders and complex client engagements.
