Technical Product Manager – Card Payments

About the role

Salmon is building the next generation of card products for its fast‑growing fintech platform in Southeast Asia. As a Technical Product Manager you will own the delivery of Apple Pay, Google Pay, virtual and one‑time virtual cards from the initial business request through to production, working across issuers, acquirers and payment systems.

Key responsibilities

• Ship new card capabilities such as Apple Pay, Google Pay integration, card tokenisation and virtual card offerings.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery with engineering, QA, internal stakeholders and external providers, managing tasks in Jira and Confluence.
• Design and implement new card features, APIs and system integrations, both from scratch and on existing services.
• Write clear technical documentation for developers and monitor service performance after release.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents related to card issuing, processing and e‑commerce payments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or System Analyst, preferably in fintech or banking.
• Hands‑on experience with payment services and a solid understanding of issuers, acquirers and payment ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture, system design and API development.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage releases.
