Site Operations Lead for Power Generation

About the role

Lead a team that handles onsite production activities for a 12MW project, ensuring equipment availability, reliability and performance in line with OEM recommendations, SSO and client load demands.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor diesel generators, transformers and related equipment to ensure continuous power.
• Allocate daily tasks for the Production Team based on monthly shift planning.
• Monitor site/asset alarms, provide advance notifications to Service Manager and support incident resolution.
• Analyse asset performance, oversee oil sample analysis and drive corrective actions with the Maintenance Team.
• Maintain accurate production data and optimise inventory usage.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE policies (LOTO, ESR, lifting, tool calibration, spill prevention, PPE).
• Attend meetings with customer operations teams and manage client load expectations.
• Promote 5S and OPOS standards to keep the site tidy and efficient.

Required profile

• Licensed PRC Electrical Engineer (REE) with knowledge of Aggreko electrical equipment.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a power project environment or similar role.
• Ability to read single‑line diagrams, P&IDs and mechanical drawings.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• SCADA system operation and load control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
• Understanding of equipment safe operating procedures.
• Experience with diesel generators, transformers, switchgear and NET equipment.
