Recruitment & Social Media Assistant

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a Recruitment and Social Media Assistant to support its global hiring efforts. Working under the Head of Recruitment Unit and the National Human Resource Officer, you will help attract talent, manage job postings, and ensure smooth candidate screening processes.

Key responsibilities

• Post vacancies and execute recruitment marketing across internal and external channels, including job boards and social media.
• Optimize job posts with relevant keywords for SEO.
• Review and balance panel compositions to ensure diversity.
• Assign access rights in the recruitment platform and provide troubleshooting support.
• Source candidates actively using social media tools.
• Screen applications using pre‑defined criteria and communicate outcomes to hiring managers.
• Maintain talent pipelines, update tracking lists, and assist in statistical reporting.
• Provide administrative support for tests, interviews, and background checks.
• Serve as backup for the Recruiting Specialist and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with five years of experience.
• Experience in a multicultural environment is an advantage.
• High level of computer literacy.
