Python Developer – Windows Automation Bot

About the role

We are looking for a Python Developer to design, build, and maintain a Windows‑based automation bot that monitors a specific webpage, claims tasks automatically, and provides robust user controls. The role involves creating a reliable, background‑friendly application compatible with Windows 10 and 11.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a Windows automation bot that monitors a designated webpage and automatically claims available tasks.
• Implement a workflow that refreshes the page, detects tasks, and claims them based on configurable intervals.
• Provide start, stop, and pause controls for efficient bot management.
• Build configurable settings for refresh intervals, notifications, and automation preferences.
• Develop secure credential management for safe authentication.
• Integrate desktop or task‑bar notifications with optional sound alerts.
• Create comprehensive activity and error logging for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Implement safeguards against duplicate task claims and ensure reliable processing.
• Ensure the application runs efficiently in the background or minimized without impacting system performance.
• Develop automatic recovery mechanisms for webpage failures.
• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and optimization for Windows compatibility.
• Deliver complete source code, documentation, setup instructions, and post‑deployment support.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Python Developer, Automation/RPA Developer, or Software Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python with hands‑on experience using Selenium, Playwright, or similar web‑automation frameworks.
• Experience with C#/.NET or Windows desktop application development is a plus.
• Deep understanding of web automation, browser interaction, and task scheduling.
• Knowledge of secure credential management and authentication best practices.
• Experience implementing logging, exception handling, and automated error recovery.
• Familiarity with Windows desktop notifications, background services, and application lifecycle management.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
• Independent work style with ability to manage project timelines.
