Principal Specialist, Procurement

About the role

The Principal Specialist, Procurement will lead procurement activities for Collins Aerospace in the Philippines, ensuring that purchasing processes align with corporate standards and deliver value. This role supports the end‑to‑end supply chain, from request for proposals to contract performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFP creation, negotiation preparation, and cost analysis.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Purchase goods, materials, supplies, and services, preparing purchase orders, approving payments, and negotiating prices.
• Compile price proposals, financial reports, and related data to support pricing decisions.
• Prepare bid packages for new accounts and monitor contract performance for compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve shortages or delays.

Required profile

• University degree with at least 5 years of relevant procurement experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years, or 9 years of experience without a degree.
• Understanding of Lean principles and contractual terms and conditions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPIM, CPM, CSCP, CPSM) are a plus.

Required skills

• SAP (MRP) user experience.
