Principal Specialist Procurement

About the role

The Principal Specialist Procurement will lead procurement activities for Collins Aerospace in the Philippines, ensuring that purchasing processes, negotiations and cost analyses align with corporate standards and deliver value to the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes, including RFP creation, negotiation preparation, and cost analysis.
• Prepare purchase orders, approve payments, and negotiate pricing under general guidance.
• Compile price proposals, financial reports, and data to support pricing decisions.
• Develop and issue request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages for new accounts.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries, resolving shortages or delays.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations to maintain customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• University degree with at least 5 years relevant procurement experience, or advanced degree with 3 years experience, or 9 years experience without a degree.
• Understanding of Lean principles and contractual terms and conditions.
• Relevant certifications such as APICS, ISM, CPIM, CPM, CSCP, or CPSM are a plus.

Required skills

• SAP user experience for MRP.
