Presales Solution Architect – AWS

About the role

Join SoftwareOne’s Cloud Services team as a Presales Solution Architect – AWS. You will work closely with customers, sales, and delivery specialists to design and implement secure, scalable, and cost‑effective AWS solutions that drive digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with customers and sales teams to understand business objectives and craft tailored AWS architectures.
• Guide organizations through cloud transformation initiatives, including data‑center modernization, migrations, and hybrid cloud adoption.
• Design secure, resilient, and cost‑optimized solutions following AWS best practices.
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, presentations, and respond to RFPs and proposals.
• Provide architectural oversight during project delivery to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Stay current with AWS innovations and share expertise with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutions, especially migration and modernization projects.
• Deep knowledge of AWS architecture, security, networking, and governance.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation) and automation.
• Familiarity with modern cloud‑native technologies such as containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are highly valued.
