Operations Engineer – New Product Introduction (NPI)

About the role

The Operations Engineer – NPI provides first‑call line support during high‑volume builds, ensuring new product introductions run smoothly. You will assess engineering issues that halt production, validate design manufacturability, and help maintain continuous manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site engineering support for new product or program builds.
• Review and validate design manufacturability before and after BOM release.
• Identify root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend design or process changes.
• Write procedures and set standards to improve system effectiveness.
• Monitor and achieve team KPIs and metrics.
• Collaborate with the Product Engineering Manager and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in engineering operations, manufacturing engineering, or New Product Introduction.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination abilities.
• Clean disciplinary record and not under a Performance Improvement Plan.
