Mid-Level DevOps Engineer

About the role

Qureos is building an AI-native hiring platform and needs a mid‑level DevOps Engineer to keep its production infrastructure reliable and scalable. You will own the systems that power AI sourcing, screening, and interview pipelines used by thousands of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Cloud Run to deliver code safely and quickly.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and New Relic.
• Define and own SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, and lead end‑to‑end incident response.
• Run blameless post‑mortems and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Administer and optimize MongoDB, handling backup and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Python/Bash scripts and IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and collaborate with development, QA, and engineering teams on production issues.

Required profile

• Mid‑level DevOps/SRE experience with real production ownership.
• Hands‑on expertise in GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, GKE), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Comfortable administering MongoDB and optimizing its performance.
• Strong debugging methodology: observe, hypothesize, validate with data, and resolve.
• Working knowledge of IaC (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, CircleCI or similar).
