About the role
The Hub Sorter position is a core part of UPS package handling operations, ensuring that parcels move efficiently through the hub. You will work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, collaborating with a skilled team to maintain high standards of speed, accuracy, and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload UPS packages from trailers and package cars.
- Sort, scan, and stock packages throughout the hub.
- Operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move pallets and containers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following UPS handling procedures.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors in a dynamic environment.
Required profile
- Ability to lift up to 70 lb (32 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts up to five days per week.
- Basic reading ability to interpret postal codes.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
