Engineer II, Design Engineering

About the role

Join RTX's Collins Aerospace division as an Engineer II in Design Engineering, where you will contribute to the A330 FCRC program by creating and supporting 3D designs for aerospace components. This hybrid role combines on‑site collaboration with remote work, allowing you to work closely with cross‑functional teams in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design 3D parts and assemblies for the A330 FCRC Program.
• Author engineering documents (EDES) and support change implementation.
• Provide production support by investigating and resolving design‑related issues.
• Document, investigate and support resolution of aftermarket spare and in‑flight concerns.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant design or production experience.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, service bulletins and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Comfort working in a cross‑functional, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Siemens NX for 3D modeling.
• Proficiency in CATIA for 3D modeling.
