Area Commercial Sales Manager – Legazpi to Masbate

About the role

The Area Commercial Sales Manager (Legazpi‑Masbate) will drive revenue growth and sustainable development of JTI brands within the assigned territory. Reporting to the Regional Commercial Sales Director, the role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and market intelligence to achieve sales and KPI targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Area Sales Commercial Strategy aligned with JTI business objectives and the Barangay Playbook.
• Strengthen collaboration with CBU leads to optimise sales initiatives and align with local market dynamics.
• Implement a performance‑management framework to track KPIs, drive accountability and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Design and execute product‑portfolio strategies that balance profitability with consumer preferences.
• Analyse industry trends, competitor actions and consumer insights to anticipate market shifts.
• Define optimal territory structures, route plans and headcount requirements to meet distribution goals.
• Identify growth opportunities and risks, translating insights into actionable plans.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation and compliance standards while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Lead, coach and motivate Field Force teams to achieve sales targets and sustain brand equity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial sales within the consumer‑goods sector.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage territory performance.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage trade and consumer data.
• Experience in budgeting, resource allocation and compliance management.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional partners such as CBU leads.
• Knowledge of local market dynamics in the Legazpi‑Masbate area.
