Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

Asiacruit is looking for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of receivables across multiple entities. You will ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and proper cash application while supporting month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices according to contracts and billing schedules.
• Monitor AR aging, follow up on past‑due accounts, and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Apply incoming payments, reconcile payment batches, and resolve unapplied or short‑payments.
• Respond to customer inquiries on invoices, statements, and payment status, collaborating with sales, operations, and billing teams.
• Support month‑end close with receivables reconciliations, aging analyses, and documentation for auditors.
• Assist with credit checks, dispute documentation, and coordinate write‑offs or adjustments.
• Identify and implement process improvements using ERP and automation tools.
• Participate in special finance projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or general accounting.
• Experience in multi‑entity or multinational environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and effective written communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems such as NetSuite, Xero, or SAP Business One.
• Advanced Excel skills for reconciliations and reporting.
• Familiarity with electronic payment processing and bank reconciliation.
