Technical Project Manager

About the role

WRS Health is seeking a Technical Project Manager to act as the Technical Product Owner (TPO) for its cloud‑based EMR and practice management solutions. The TPO bridges business objectives and technical execution, ensuring product releases align with strategic goals, regulatory standards, and user needs.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements from clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, preparing items for development.
• Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with UI/UX architects, developers, QA, and manual testing teams to ensure product quality and smooth releases.
• Oversee regulatory compliance processes (e.g., ONC, Surescripts, MDToolbox/DEA) and maintain system certifications.
• Mentor and manage the Product Owner team, setting goals and evaluating performance.
• Coordinate MIPS services, ensure financial alignment, and handle escalations.

Required profile

• Proven experience conducting user research and translating insights into user flows and personas.
• Background in healthcare or health‑technology software is a strong advantage.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities, identify critical roadblocks, and make data‑driven decisions under pressure.
• Self‑motivated with strong judgment and proactive attitude.
