Senior Tax Accountant (Sales & Use Tax Automation)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to lead our Sales & Use Tax automation initiatives. The role is fully remote and supports our commercial laundry and air vending business across the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file U.S. Sales & Use Tax returns.
• Perform reconciliations, accrual reviews and variance analysis.
• Assist with month‑end close, including tax‑related journal entries.
• Support tax audits, documentation and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with Accounting, IT, Billing and Operations to improve tax workflows.
• Implement and maintain tax automation tools and ERP integrations.
• Mentor junior team members on tax processes and reporting.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in tax accounting or indirect tax operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Sales & Use Tax compliance.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Required skills

• Strong Excel and reporting abilities.
• Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 preferred).
• Familiarity with tax automation platforms such as Vertex or Avalara.
