Senior Category Manager

About the role

GCash is looking for a Senior Category Manager to lead the end‑to‑end supply ecosystem of its Superapp. You will shape the supply strategy, manage categories, and ensure the right products and offers are ready for users across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the supply ecosystem, including SKUs, offers, vouchers and rewards from both internal and partner sources.
• Develop and execute a Supply Strategy that balances diversity, freshness and velocity for different user segments.
• Lead category management across all supply verticals, handling assortment planning, rationalisation and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Trade Marketing, Sales and Marketing to translate commercial goals into actionable supply plans.
• Guarantee supply readiness for campaigns and ensure compatibility across discovery spaces.
• Partner with Sales to align partner pipelines with demand forecasts and app calendars.
• Establish supply governance standards, risk mitigation and quality criteria.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in category management, marketplace operations or supply management.
• Background in e‑commerce, fintech, superapps, loyalty platforms or digital marketplaces is preferred.
• Experience owning and scaling supply or assortment across multiple categories in a high‑velocity environment.
• Proven track record of negotiating and managing external partners, merchants or brands.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders through data and insight.
