Senior Business Development Coordinator – Tax & Employment, AP

About the role

The Senior Business Development Coordinator will support the Asia Pacific Tax and Employment & Compensation practice groups by driving business development, marketing, communication and research initiatives. Working closely with the Business Development Manager and the AP Head of Markets & Practices, the role ensures seamless coordination of client‑focused activities across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support business development activities for the assigned practice groups, demonstrating commercial and strategic thinking.
• Track and rigorously follow up on return on investment (ROI) of BD initiatives.
• Independently manage cross‑border pitches, gathering information from multiple offices and practice teams.
• Develop and nurture key client relationships in collaboration with other practice and industry groups.
• Organise client webinars, podcasts, roadshows, seminars and support partner participation in regional conferences.
• Prepare briefing materials for partners, brief partners for client meetings and provide onsite event support as needed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date marketing collateral, including capability statements, pitch templates, deals lists, website content and press releases.
• Support the creation of strategic research to inform business plans and identify new client opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to think strategically.
• Excellent project‑management skills and the capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Proven experience in business development within professional services or related sectors.
• Ability to work collaboratively across practice groups, regions and global delivery centers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
