Senior Accountant – Transaction Services Controller

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Cross‑Border Services (XBS) One‑Hub team. The role will support the automation strategy for the XBS product, ensuring all accounting and reporting activities comply with US GAAP and internal control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end support for finance and accounting automation of the XBS product.
• Perform payment, cash, AR, and AP reconciliations and manage unreconciled transactions.
• Handle exception management and intercompany reconciliation to maintain balance accuracy.
• Support the Oracle migration execution plan and create ICA/Bank accounts in Oracle and Mastercard Billing systems.
• Coordinate static data with the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
• Enhance internal controls and conduct testing of project milestones.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
• Experience with Oracle financial systems and large‑scale migration projects.
• Proven ability to manage cash, AR, AP, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Familiarity with Mastercard policies and internal control environments.
