Senior Accountant – Remote (Work From Home)

About the role

Connext is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its US‑based client. The position is fully remote and focuses on accurate financial reporting, managing accounts payable and receivable, month‑end close, and an ERP migration from QuickBooks to NetSuite.

Key responsibilities

• Review, verify and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Support month‑end close, accruals and generate customer invoices.
• Monitor receivables, follow up on overdue accounts and post customer payments.
• Reconcile bank and credit‑card statements and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries across the balance sheet and P&L.
• Perform validation testing and data uploads during ERP conversion from QuickBooks.
• Document accounting processes and assist the Controller on special projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience supporting U.S. or large international companies.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using NetSuite.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Stable employment history.
