Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist/Strategist to lead the long‑term SEO growth strategy for an Australia‑based client in the renewable energy and electrification sector. This remote, independent‑contract position requires a proactive individual who can work autonomously, think strategically, and deliver measurable improvements in organic visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
• Improve organic search rankings, website visibility, and backlink authority.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, SEO audits, and technical SEO reviews.
• Implement backlink generation, authority‑building, and on‑page optimisation (metadata, internal linking, headings, page structure).
• Monitor domain authority, Core Web Vitals, indexing, crawlability, and algorithm updates.
• Utilise SEO tools (SEMrush, Ubersuggest, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs) and AI‑assisted workflows.
• Prepare performance reports with actionable insights.
• Perform minor Webflow updates and coordinate with developers for advanced changes.

Required profile

• Based in the Philippines and able to work 4 hours per day during Australian core business hours.
• Independent contractor comfortable listing the engagement on LinkedIn and declaring other work.
• Available for ad‑hoc chats and meetings during client business hours.

Required skills

• Technical SEO, On‑Page SEO, Off‑Page SEO, Content SEO.
• Proficiency with SEMrush, Ubersuggest, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs.
• Experience with Webflow for content uploads and page edits.
• Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and AI‑driven search trends.
