Scheduler (Permanent Work From Home)

About the role

ClearDesk is looking for a remote Scheduler to support a U.S.-based home‑care client. You will keep caregiver schedules running smoothly, fill last‑minute gaps, and ensure seniors receive consistent, compassionate care in their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain up‑to‑date caregiver schedules across multiple counties.
• Respond quickly to shift cancellations or no‑shows and arrange replacements.
• Answer calls from clients and caregivers using a VoIP system.
• Update records and case notes in the WellSky platform (training provided).
• Collaborate with the operations team to flag staffing issues and maintain smooth coverage.
• Conduct regular check‑ins with caregivers and generate weekly staffing reports for leadership.

Required profile

• Previous experience in scheduling, preferably in healthcare or home‑care settings.
• Calm under pressure, highly organized, and able to solve problems quickly.
• Strong communication skills to keep caregivers and clients informed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a VoIP phone system.
• Experience or willingness to learn the WellSky scheduling platform.
