Risk Officer

About the role

The Philippine Stock Exchange is seeking a Risk Officer to support the Head of the Risk Management Office in implementing its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and maintaining business continuity plans. The role will be based on‑site in BGC, Taguig City and will involve close collaboration with auditors, internal audit and line departments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in rolling out risk management initiatives and projects across the Exchange.
• Support the implementation, update, review and testing of the Business Continuity Management policy and related plans.
• Coordinate with auditors and management to monitor audit findings, corrective actions and related activities.
• Help review and update risk policies, including business continuity and information security, for Board approval.
• Facilitate risk‑awareness training, workshops and other activities to build risk proficiency.
• Support units in conducting regular risk and control self‑assessments and developing mitigation measures.
• Assist in defining risk strategies, key risk indicators and analytical reports to monitor enterprise risks.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on key risks to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or a related field; MBA or professional certifications are a plus.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in risk management, preferably covering enterprise, project, operational or technology risk.
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, risk assessment, ERM, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent business writing and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Taguig City.
