Regulatory Compliance Lead

About the role

GCash is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Lead to support its mission of delivering innovative financial solutions in the Philippines. The role involves daily compliance activities, regulatory monitoring, reporting, and policy support to ensure the company meets all legal and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and research new laws, regulations, circulars, and advisories issued by BSP, SEC, AMLC and other regulators.
• Summarize regulatory updates and assess their impact on GCash operations, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in preparing and submitting accurate regulatory reports to the BSP.
• Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation, including records of correspondence, reports, policies, training materials, and audit findings.
• Support the development, review, and update of internal compliance policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance databases, prepare presentations on compliance metrics, and contribute to special ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, economics, business, management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine financial regulations issued by BSP, SEC and AMLC.
• Professional experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Experience interacting with regulators, senior management and board members.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
