About the role

The Regional Collections Team Lead (CDO) is responsible for overseeing a collections team across a defined geographic area. The role focuses on timely recovery of payments, reducing overdue accounts, and meeting collection targets while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate regional collections personnel to achieve recovery goals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and implement effective collection strategies.
• Ensure timely resolution of past‑due accounts while preserving customer goodwill.
• Analyze collection performance metrics and prepare regular management reports.
• Conduct field visits and account reviews as needed.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and legal requirements.
• Handle escalated or high‑risk collection cases.
• Coordinate with branch operations, credit, legal, and risk management teams.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations for team members.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance collection efficiency and portfolio quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in field collections; leadership or senior collector experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of banking collection practices and delinquency management.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
