React Native Front-End Developer (Mid)

About the role

Outsourced.ph is seeking a mid‑level Front‑End Developer to join its fast‑moving engineering team and build modern mobile applications. You will work in a startup‑style environment, collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high‑impact features quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality mobile apps using React Native.
• Work with modern mobile architectures and client‑side data stores.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams in an iterative development cycle.
• Integrate real‑time functionality such as WebSockets and Phoenix Channels.
• Contribute to scalable UI systems and reusable component libraries.
• Ramp up on existing codebases and become productive early.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
• Own features from development through release.

Required profile

• Upper‑level mid‑weight engineer comfortable with fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
• Proactive, adaptable, and solution‑oriented with strong communication skills.
• Able to learn quickly, work independently, and deliver without heavy oversight.
• Passionate about building quality products and improving engineering workflows.

Required skills

• React Native (native mobile experience).
• Expo or similar React Native tooling.
• Client‑side data stores such as WatermelonDB.
• Realtime technologies like Phoenix Channels and WebSockets.
• Strong understanding of UI design systems and component‑based architecture.
• Experience with Elixir/BEAM (preferred).
• Backend or full‑stack development experience (preferred).
