Quality Assurance Assistant Manager – ServiceNow ATF

About the role

The Quality Assurance Assistant Manager will lead ServiceNow testing initiatives, ensuring that platform changes meet business requirements and quality standards. You will coordinate a team of test professionals, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement of testing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and control testing activities across multiple ServiceNow modules.
• Develop overall test strategy, test plans, and UAT test cases.
• Review and endorse test reports, manage defect remediation, and provide regular status updates.
• Lead a group of test professionals, fostering best practices and governance.
• Measure and report testing progress, raise risks, and ensure effective defect management.
• Perform manual, functional, regression, sanity, and smoke testing.
• Validate forms, catalog items, UI, Flow Designer, SLA, and integration points (REST/SOAP).

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience leading ServiceNow testing projects.
• Complete knowledge of the testing lifecycle and methodologies.
• ISTQB Foundation certificate (required) and CSA certification (nice‑to‑have).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and business analysis skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate solutions.

Required skills

• ServiceNow (ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps) testing.
• Automated Testing Framework (ATF) for ServiceNow.
• REST and SOAP API integration testing.
• SQL query skills.
• ISTQB Foundation certification.
• CSA certification (optional).
