Purchasing Officer

About the role

RecruitGo is seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing Officer to support offshore procurement administration. The role will handle purchase order creation, supplier coordination, catalogue maintenance and ensure ISO‑compliant documentation across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and validate purchase orders for approved projects, services, warehouse and operational needs.
• Confirm pricing against supplier quotes, approved catalogues and project pricing, and re‑validate when required.
• Monitor outstanding orders, follow up with suppliers on acceptance, fulfilment and delivery status.
• Maintain supplier portal logins, track catalogue changes, pricing updates and product availability.
• Support warehouse consumable ordering and track product ETA and order status.
• Document evidence for supplier selection, performance evaluation and contractor performance evaluation.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and excellent follow‑up skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Familiarity with procurement procedures and ISO compliance requirements.
