Principal – Hospitality School Leadership

About the role

The Principal will spearhead the creation and operation of the Swiss Care Foundation School of Hospitality, delivering world‑class hospitality education to underserved individuals. This mission‑driven position blends academic excellence with operational leadership to build a sustainable, impact‑focused institution.

Key responsibilities

• Define the school’s vision, academic framework, and long‑term strategy aligned with the foundation’s mission.
• Design and launch hospitality curricula (culinary, bakery, service, housekeeping, barista, front office) that meet global standards and local employability needs.
• Ensure compliance with TESDA, DSWD, and Philippine education regulations; lead accreditation and permit processes.
• Develop a transparent scholar selection system prioritizing underserved communities and oversee their holistic development.
• Plan and supervise the construction of training kitchens, mock hotel rooms, labs, and classrooms to meet industry specifications.
• Forge partnerships with hotels, restaurants, and international training institutions to create internship and employment pathways.
• Recruit, lead, and evaluate faculty and administrative staff; manage budgets and resource allocation efficiently.
• Align all programs and operations with the school’s social impact objectives.

Required profile

• Strategic, mission‑oriented leader with proven experience in hospitality education or training.
• Strong understanding of Philippine technical and social welfare regulations (TESDA, DSWD).
• Track record of curriculum development, accreditation, and facility planning.
• Excellent partnership‑building skills with industry and international institutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, staff, and large‑scale projects.
