POLO Associate - Purchase Order Lifecycle

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a POLO Associate in Taguig, Philippines, within its Procurement function (Contract & Processing Services). The associate manages the purchase order process and tasks associated with the PO lifecycle, working with internal stakeholders and suppliers to keep PRs and POs processed efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day PO lifecycle, including purchase requisition creation, routing and approval, and invoicing and payments support.
• Ensure service delivery according to agreed SLAs while complying with company policy and legal requirements.
• Engage regularly with stakeholders to confirm PR/PO details, carry out PO tasks and resolve discrepancies.
• Guide internal stakeholders on contract creation and pre-creation tasks needed before or during the PO lifecycle.
• Support testing and implementation of automation and AI initiatives in the assigned area.
• Resolve purchase order issues such as pricing discrepancies or delays in services, materials or goods.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
• 2-3 years of business process or business operations experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Required skills

• Strong attention to detail, organization and time management.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with suppliers and internal customers.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience with purchasing systems such as Ariba or equivalent is a plus.
• A good understanding of Accounts Payable, Payments, Sourcing and Contracting and Source-to-settle processes is preferred.
