Plant Operator

About the role

Air Liquide Philippines is seeking a Plant Operator to join its Primary Production plant in Pasig City. The role involves operating and monitoring air separation, hydrogen and carbon dioxide plants while ensuring continuous, safe, and high‑quality gas supply to a wide range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine equipment checks, log data and minimise plant downtime.
• Implement safety, quality and reliability programmes and adhere to ISO 9001:2015 and IMS requirements.
• Participate in risk assessments, safety meetings and incident reporting to achieve zero‑accident targets.
• Inspect and maintain plant safety equipment and support proactive maintenance activities.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and spare‑parts management to drive plant reliability.
• Operate, monitor and control plant processes within specifications and respond to customer calls.
• Manage non‑conformances, calibrations and contribute to training initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing or gas‑generating plant environment.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under challenging situations.
• Demonstrated capability to recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ability to operate a forklift is an advantage.

Required skills

• Forklift operation
