Physician – BOSC Clinic (US Navy program)

About the role

Amentum is seeking a qualified Physician to deliver comprehensive medical care at the BOSC Clinic, supporting a critical US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves providing primary, acute, and preventive health services to a diverse, multinational workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions in a clinic setting.
• Perform physical exams, order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies.
• Develop patient care plans, prescribe medications, and ensure compliance with medical guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies, delivering BLS, ACLS, and trauma stabilization as needed.
• Collaborate with Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and ancillary staff.
• Maintain accurate electronic health record (EHR) documentation and uphold compliance standards.
• Participate in clinical operations review and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty.
• Valid, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• 3‑5 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care or emergency settings.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS is a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid passport (minimum 1‑year validity) and ability to travel internationally.
