People Solutions Specialist (HRIS) - Workday

About the role

TaskUs is looking for a People Solutions Specialist (HRIS) in Pasig, Philippines. The role sits in a global HRIS team and ensures the accuracy, integrity and usability of employee data and HR systems, primarily Workday. It is a shared title with two tracks: HRIS-EDM Specialist and HRIS Specialist - Data Governance. The HRIS-EDM track is an individual contributor role reporting to the HRIS Supervisor, focused on employee data transactions and global support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for employee data transactions from pre-employment through offboarding, ensuring accuracy and compliance in Workday and other HR systems.
• Maintain and protect confidential employee data with discretion and responsibility.
• Resolve HCM process and data issues and respond to tickets, emails and chats from internal users, escalating complex or sensitive cases to the HRIS Supervisor.
• Monitor the Workday inbox and keep data clean and audit-ready.
• Collaborate with HRIS team members across regions and support UAT of new functionality with IT or Business Analysts.
• Contribute to HRIS-EDM process maturity, share feedback and take on occasional tasks or small projects.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in HRIS support, employee data management or HR operations, preferably in a Shared Services or multi-geo setup.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to manage case queues and meet deadlines in a high-volume, service-driven environment.
• Flexibility to work in shifting schedules, as the role supports a 24/7 global ticket queue and shift assignments may change after shift bids.
• Willingness to collaborate across time zones and contribute to process improvement.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Workday or a similar HRIS platform.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: familiarity with Workday reporting or configuration, and experience with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira or similar ticketing systems.
