National Supply Chain Officer

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a National Supply Chain Officer for its Philippines Country Office in Legazpi. Reporting to the Head of Resources Management Unit and receiving technical guidance from the Supply Chain Officer in Manila, the incumbent will manage supply‑chain activities at the sub‑office level, with a focus on warehouse operations and staff supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Directly supervise and mentor warehouse staff, monitoring performance and compliance with IOM procedures.
• Implement and monitor supply‑chain processes in line with IOM policies, including inventory control, stock reconciliation and reporting.
• Coordinate with the Programme Manager in Legazpi and the Manila Supply Chain Officer to align logistics support with programme needs.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare regular reports, and support procurement activities as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain management, logistics or warehouse supervision.
• Familiarity with humanitarian or development contexts is advantageous.
• Ability to work under the supervision of senior staff and collaborate with programme teams.
