Mechanical Design Engineer Draftsperson

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer Draftsperson to join our Philippines team and support an Australia‑based client. The role bridges technical design with customer engagement, ensuring project requirements are accurately translated into detailed drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with customers to understand project needs and provide technical guidance.
• Act as liaison between customers and internal technical teams, ensuring clear communication.
• Collaborate with project managers, site managers, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to gather information and update design progress.
• Prepare and deliver detailed engineering drawings and 3‑D models on schedule.
• Support project managers with draft delivery and address design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in design review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance drafting efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Creative thinker with strong logical and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to work onsite at the Ortigas/Angeles City office.

Required skills

• Mechanical design drafting.
• 3‑D modeling and engineering drawing creation.
• Proficiency with drafting tools and software (e.g., CAD).
