Jumbo Operator – Underground Mining

About the role

The Jumbo Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining jumbo drilling equipment in the underground environment of the Didipio mine in the Philippines. This role ensures safe, efficient drilling while supporting overall mine productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Implement advanced drilling techniques and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Train and mentor junior operators, sharing best practices for jumbo operation.
• Safely operate and maintain jumbo drilling equipment and other underground mining machinery.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating jumbo drilling equipment in underground mining.
• Valid driver’s licence and the right to work in the Philippines.
• Strong knowledge of mining safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Physical endurance and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
