About the role
The HR Generalist will manage and oversee the human‑resource and administrative functions for a company of roughly 1,525 employees, including on‑the‑job trainees. The role covers recruitment, employee relations, documentation, payroll support, and compliance with Philippine labor regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment using platforms such as Bossjob and coordinate with department heads on staffing needs.
- Coordinate with schools, colleges and universities for OJT student deployment, monitor attendance, performance and ensure proper documentation.
- Handle employee concerns, prepare disciplinary notices and ensure procedures comply with DOLE regulations.
- Maintain employee files, prepare contracts, onboarding documents and manage turnover paperwork.
- Monitor attendance, tardiness, overtime and prepare summaries for payroll processing.
- Manage HR petty‑cash, liquidate expenses and oversee office supply purchases.
- Process government benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG) and assist with permit applications.
- Support management in implementing company policies and monitor compliance.
Required profile
- Proven experience in generalist HR functions within a large organization.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and DOLE guidelines.
- Ability to work closely with educational institutions and manage OJT programs.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
