Financial Operations Senior Analyst

About the role

The Financial Operations (FinOps) team at Mastercard Transaction Services is looking for a Senior Analyst to help translate business needs into end‑to‑end financially accepted operating models. You will work closely with Finance, Controllership, Treasury, Product, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams to support both day‑to‑day changes and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in project briefings from business teams.
• Proactively identify operational risks or design issues arising from new initiatives and embed Finance requirements early.
• Support finance‑related workstreams for cross‑functional initiatives such as new products, new financial flows, system improvements, and process redesign.
• Gather requirements, create timelines, identify dependencies, and track deliverables from definition to execution.
• Participate in testing and validation of financial processes and system changes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience collaborating across functions such as Finance, Treasury, and Technology.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment and integrate new information regularly.
• Interest in ensuring smooth execution, optimization, and improvement of financial processes and projects.
