Financial Control Analyst, Insto Ex-Markets

About the role

The Financial Control Analyst joins ANZ's Financial Control community, supporting the Insto Ex‑Markets team. You will ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, uphold the Group’s accounting policies, and deliver accurate, timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Support international end‑to‑end accounting and reporting processes, providing accurate data to onshore Finance Control teams.
• Maintain financial integrity by executing strong controls across hub‑based processes.
• Assist in implementing and embedding centralized, standardized processes and controls for Institutional Ex‑Markets.
• Deliver month‑end outputs such as registers, schedules, reconciliations, and trial balances that meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Take end‑to‑end accountability for country‑agnostic processes including journals, reconciliations, and core control activities.
• Ensure “quality at source” by implementing and maintaining robust process‑level controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred (CA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Relevant experience in accounting, audit, financial control, or shared services.
• Familiarity with financial services or regulated industries is an advantage.
