Finance Manager – Southeast Asia (Infrastructure & Energy)

About the role

The Finance Manager for Southeast Asia (Infrastructure & Energy) will lead the regional finance function, overseeing reporting, analysis, project finance and commercial finance streams. You will ensure accurate financial data, drive operational efficiencies and support strategic decision‑making across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage detailed and accurate financial data for the Southeast Asia region to enable timely reporting and informed business decisions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance reporting for commercial, financial and project activities.
• Ensure compliance with SJ Group policies, procedures, systems and internal controls across all financial processes.
• Build and maintain effective internal and external relationships to support client and stakeholder management.
• Lead, develop and retain a team of finance professionals, ensuring optimal performance and professional growth.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent is highly regarded.
• Proven experience in a similar finance leadership role within a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of cost control, confidential information handling and business relationship management.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality outcomes under competing demands and tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Financial management expertise, including taxation, compliance, reporting and legal considerations.
• In‑depth knowledge of accounting practices and standards.
• Familiarity with contemporary financial management systems and audit processes.
