Field Service Technician – AV & Workplace Technology

About the role

DVI Solutions is seeking a hands‑on Field Service Technician to install, configure, and support audio‑visual and workplace technology solutions at client sites across the region. You will work directly with customers, ensuring meeting rooms and collaboration spaces operate flawlessly.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test AV equipment such as displays, projectors, conferencing systems, control panels and peripherals.
• Perform onsite troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs of AV and related IT issues.
• Read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Mount equipment, terminate cables, label connections and install rack systems.
• Support video‑conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco, Poly, Crestron, Extron) and room‑scheduling tools.
• Provide basic user training and technical guidance to clients.
• Document service activities, configurations and resolutions accurately.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and remote support teams while maintaining a professional onsite presence.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience with AV systems, workplace technology or field‑based IT support.
• Strong hands‑on troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently onsite and manage time effectively.
• Customer‑service mindset and professional demeanor.

Required skills

• Experience with video‑conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco, Poly, Crestron, Extron).
• Understanding of AV signal flow and basic networking concepts (IP addressing, VLANs, PoE).
• Knowledge of installing and configuring displays, projectors, control systems and related peripherals.
