Facilities Engineer (Entry Level) - Pili CamSur

About the role

Sutherland is hiring a Facilities & Property Management Associate (entry level) in Pili, Camarines Sur, to manage day-to-day facilities operations and support the readiness of its office space. The role covers maintenance, ticketing, project support and stakeholder coordination, and requires on-site reporting at the Sutherland Pili CamSur location.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily facilities operations, including leasehold improvements, equipment upkeep and site maintenance, and run regular inspections with preventive and corrective maintenance programs
• Supervise contractors for general repairs, pest control and scheduled maintenance, and oversee workspace readiness such as seat assignments, relocations and partitions
• Monitor electricity and water consumption and keep accurate tracking reports
• Keep Asset Maintenance Contracts up to date and ensure equipment such as UPS, AC units and gensets is regularly serviced
• Maintain documentation of service reports, contracts and compliance records, and support health and safety standards on site
• Handle facility requests through ticketing systems within agreed SLAs, monitor queues and coordinate approvals with stakeholders
• Support site build-outs, renovations and rehabilitation projects, and take part in weekly seat planning and operational meetings
• Respond to requests for office setups (meetings, training, onboarding), liaise with vendors, lessors and government agencies (e.g. PEZA, local authorities), and work with building administration on facility issues
• Take part in continuous learning and development programs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
• Willingness to work extended hours or flexible schedules as needed
• On-site reporting required at Sutherland Pili CamSur, IT Park, Provincial Capitol Complex, Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur
• Knowledge of civil and structural construction, including interior and exterior works
• Ability to evaluate vendor preventive maintenance reports and recommend action plans
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, with a customer-service orientation and adaptability

Required skills

• Designing and computing electrical and mechanical plans
• Hands-on operation and maintenance of generator sets, UPS systems and other critical equipment
• Basic project management skills with experience supporting build-outs, renovations and maintenance projects
• Familiarity with facilities operations, utilities monitoring and equipment maintenance
