Director, Global Tax

About the role

The Director, Global Tax will design and lead a global tax organisation for Jollibee Group, aligning with the company’s structure and supporting its expanding business across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Build a sustainable, agile tax function that scales with Jollibee’s growth and strategic plans.
• Oversee statutory compliance for each legal entity, balancing workload by entity count, business size and transaction complexity.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of annual and quarterly income tax returns for the group and its subsidiaries.
• Analyse effective tax rates quarterly, provide recommendations to optimise the group’s tax position.
• Lead implementation of new tax rules and regulations across all operating jurisdictions.
• Direct the group’s response to tax assessments, audits and regulatory developments, including negotiation with tax authorities.
• Manage third‑party tax counsel and oversee tax litigation when necessary.
• Develop a talent pipeline of tax practitioners with expertise in tax accounting, compliance, advocacy and audit handling.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate tax within a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to lead large, geographically dispersed tax teams.
• Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations and audit processes in multiple jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated track record in succession planning and talent development.
