DevOps/Platform Engineer

About the role

Globe is looking for a Platform DevOps Engineer to join a fast‑moving, collaborative team. You will help productize DevOps practices by building reusable pipelines, scripts and automation that simplify complex processes for multiple development groups.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with development teams to identify components that can be productized and reused.
• Maintain the Pipeline Center of Enablement, embedding compliance and governance into every release.
• Design and prototype solutions that boost productivity and reduce manual effort.
• Develop lightweight backend and frontend services to visualise internal products.
• Create scripts, reusable modules and automation to streamline processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on development experience with Python and/or Node.js.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Ansible, Helm, Kustomize, Packer and Terraform.
• Strong automation skills using Bash, Python and related scripting.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, ArgoCD and artifact repositories like JFrog.
• Working knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, S3, etc.) and exposure to public or private clouds (AWS, GCP, RHOCP).
• Familiarity with virtual machines, APIs/CLI/SDK, GitOps principles and YAML manipulation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines, especially in GitLab, and embedding automated testing.
