Desktop Support Technician

About the role

The Desktop Support Technician provides end‑user IT support for a range of PC hardware, software, and peripheral devices. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and project execution to ensure reliable technology services for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, image, upgrade, and replace PC systems and associated peripherals.
• Support devices managed through InteLogix MDM and corporate VPN solutions.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, coordinate repairs, and resolve Tier 2+ escalations from the Global Service Desk.
• Maintain vendor relationships and act as liaison with third‑party support providers.
• Prioritize and resolve trouble tickets with urgency, including after‑hours and weekend coverage.
• Travel as needed to deliver equipment or support projects, using a personal vehicle when required.
• Document technical procedures, user requests, and project outcomes in formal written form.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Level II education and experience.
• 5+ years of PC support experience with demonstrated Level III technical capability.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license for US‑based employees.
• Ability to work under pressure, follow IT leadership directions, and maintain professional composure.
