Country Manager / Director (Shared Services) – Hybrid

About the role

The Country Manager / Director, Shared Services will head the Manila Shared Services Center, ensuring high‑quality support for global operations. Reporting to the Global Shared Services Leadership Team, you will drive operational excellence, stakeholder alignment and talent development across HR, Finance, Facilities and Administration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Manila Shared Services Center and align its strategy with global business objectives.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, meeting service delivery targets and performance standards.
• Manage local functions including HR, Finance, Facilities, Administration and Employee Engagement.
• Build strong relationships with global and regional leaders, acting as a trusted business partner.
• Develop and mentor a high‑performing leadership team, fostering an inclusive and performance‑driven culture.
• Drive process improvement, automation and transformation initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and operational controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management or related field; MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in Shared Services, GBS, BPO or multinational organisations.
• At least 5 years leading large‑scale Shared Services or GBS operations.
• Strong background in operations management, business transformation and process improvement.
• Proven experience working with senior global stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
