Business Development – Cold Caller

About the role

SecondTalent is a Talent‑as‑a‑Service platform that helps US companies hire technical talent in Southeast Asia. As a Business Development Cold Caller you will be the first point of contact for US‑based technology leaders, generating qualified opportunities for the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Make 80 to 120 outbound cold calls each day to US‑based tech companies.
• Engage CTOs, HR Directors and Heads of People to uncover hiring needs.
• Qualify prospects against the Ideal Customer Profile and book discovery calls.
• Handle US objections and gatekeepers professionally and persistently.
• Log all call activity accurately in HubSpot immediately after each call.
• Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and meet meeting‑booked targets.
• Work US business hours (EST/PST priority), which translates to evening‑to‑late‑night hours in the Philippines.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of outbound cold‑calling experience in B2B SaaS, staffing, HR tech or outsourcing.
• Neutral or US‑accented English with clear spoken communication.
• Proven ability to handle US objections and navigate gatekeepers.
• Willingness to work a US‑aligned shift (approximately 8 PM to 4 AM PHT).
• Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM tool.
• Basic understanding of hiring, HR or Employer‑of‑Record concepts is a strong advantage.
