About the role
SecondTalent is a Talent‑as‑a‑Service platform that helps US companies hire technical talent in Southeast Asia. As a Business Development Cold Caller you will be the first point of contact for US‑based technology leaders, generating qualified opportunities for the sales team.
Key responsibilities
- Make 80 to 120 outbound cold calls each day to US‑based tech companies.
- Engage CTOs, HR Directors and Heads of People to uncover hiring needs.
- Qualify prospects against the Ideal Customer Profile and book discovery calls.
- Handle US objections and gatekeepers professionally and persistently.
- Log all call activity accurately in HubSpot immediately after each call.
- Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and meet meeting‑booked targets.
- Work US business hours (EST/PST priority), which translates to evening‑to‑late‑night hours in the Philippines.
Required profile
- 1 to 3 years of outbound cold‑calling experience in B2B SaaS, staffing, HR tech or outsourcing.
- Neutral or US‑accented English with clear spoken communication.
- Proven ability to handle US objections and navigate gatekeepers.
- Willingness to work a US‑aligned shift (approximately 8 PM to 4 AM PHT).
- Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM tool.
- Basic understanding of hiring, HR or Employer‑of‑Record concepts is a strong advantage.
